If you Can’t Say Something Nice…

I have heard the question, “When a woman behaves like a man, why can't she behave like a nice man?” Some women do behave like nice men. I’m thinking back to my high school gym teacher. She was a lesbian and she was very sweet. Like a very nice man. I mean like a very nice woman who had masculine attributes. However, women cops are vicious. I got me both hands on the wheel and the “yes ma’ams” prepared when they come awalkin’ to my car.

I think we all try to prove ourselves one way or another and maybe this how these women do it. Maybe trying to behave like a brutal man is one way for an insecure woman to try to earn her respect. Unfortunately, these women do not seem to know that there’s a lot of power in just being a woman. I am working on truly owning up to my womanhood; I know secretly inside that I am powerful. All women are. We are strong, beautiful, intuitive creatures and I wouldn’t give that up to be anything, including a foolish man.
