Thank You

It's a funny thing about getting back to basics. Take the thank you note, for instance. As a recruiter, it's almost customary to receive a thank you note from a candidate. While handwritten notes are a thing of the past, a succinct e-mail is fine.

But what happens when there are typos? This is a short blog, that's for sure. All I have to say is when getting back to basics even if it's a little note to thank someone for networking or submitting your resume, remember this: spell check doesn't catch everything. A misspelled note or poorly written e-mail may have counter effects. Be simple. Be succinct. And spell properly!
