Who is on Your Board of Directors?
“The one thing I would like to share with you is: learn not only from my successes but also my mistakes,” are the words often heard from our families, parents, friends and casual acquaintances. The words of wisdom and experience they offer are invaluable. The road to the top of our potential is not perfectly paved nor made by our self knowledge alone.
So who is on your board of directors?
The board of directors can be teachers, mentors, counselors and the everyday people who fill the missing pieces in the puzzle of life with guidance and understanding.
The desire to embrace diversity should be an important aspect of our lives. Seek counsel from people who don’t always look and think like you in order to have a well rounded perspective.
I am a work in progress. Sometimes I rebel against the norm but nevertheless many guardian angels have been placed in my life to stir me in the right direction.
Overall, I am grateful for my board of directors for they are always just a phone call or e-mail away whenever I need them to advise me.
