A Mesage of Hope from the Road

Sochua Mu is one of the most recent interviews I've done. She is currently on the road campaigning for the Sam Rainsy in Cambodia - attempting to create social change in a war-torn and impoverished country where girls are sold to brothels by their own families. It's a tragic place, and she is determined to give it hope. Her email response to me was concise, and quickly turned around considering she is on the campaign trail. It inspires me to know there are women like this out there fighting for a cause. When asked if she had any message to share with Americans about political activism, this was her response: "Democracy is not just about expressing what is in your mind, it is about winning the battles with those who have no voice."
