The Right to Be Wrong
Opportunity seldom happens within the perfect circumstances. Tomorrow I just might hate what I love to do today. I can understand that life brings challenges but I can still desire to shoot for the stars. I can choose to make a big deal out of a small thing or live carefree. The point is I don’t have all the answers and I have a right to be wrong.
“Who am I?” is a question that lurks around in the human consciousness. Some individuals figure out earlier in life how to turn heart filled passions into promising careers. There are also others who spend a significant time trying to figure out the lovely purpose they are born to fulfill. The late bloomers of the world are not a lost cause but are simply sprinters along the pathway to their true calling and destiny.
My ambitions and interests are constantly changing it doesn’t mean I am a drifter but perhaps I am still discovering who I truly am. One day I looked in the mirror and said, “I will no longer fight me.” This was a big accomplishment for me because I decided to embrace my natural talents and not just the skills I possess. I love writing and before I decided to share my voice with the world I was off pursuing other things besides this passion of mine.
Life is all about choices some I’ve made appear to be wise while others have completely turned my world upside down. I’m now okay with my mistakes because in many ways I have become a stronger and more resilient person.
Overall, as one of my favorite songs by singer Joss Stone says, “I've got a right to be wrong. I've been held down too long. I've got to break free so I can finally breathe.”

I believe the lyrics of that song are very true. I think a lot of people tend to forget that it's ok to be wrong. I once heard someone say if you don't fail you're not trying hard enough. It's true. Life is about making mistakes. It is the only way we learn and discover our true selves.

Once you are able to accept who you truly are and embrace the qualities you have to offer, nothing else really matters and you are truly an "adult"! Great commentary!

Life is what you make of it. I believe that our desires change as we grow. It's wonderful that you are pursuing your dreams. I can only hope that others realize that we are only limited by our own apprehensions.

It's great to recognize that we're not always right and admitting it adds humility. Thanks for the article :)!
