A Job Search Web Tip
I recently heard about a website which can make job searching a whole lot easier. In the I'm-so-excited-I-just-have-to-share category, Indeed.com acts as a conduit by collecting jobs on the internet from various websites. So, the idea of individually surfing Monster, CareerBuilder, HotJobs, individual company websites and industry-specific websites are all things of the past.
Here's how it works: click onto Indeed.com and you'll see two simple parameters. For the "what" field you can enter a job title, keywords or company name. For the where category you can input a zip code or type out the location. Your search will results will be pulled from a variety of online outlets. Once you click on each one you'll be directed to the originating site such as the specific company or job board. Better yet, the next time you log on it'll remember your four most recent searches and will highlight the new jobs since last time you logged in.
Hopefully this site will save you a lot of time when it comes to online job surfing. Happy hunting!
PS. What's the one job search site you can't live without and simply have to share?

Since I've been doing a lot of research lately on job and career resources on the web I thought I'd throw in my two cents.
The most recent episode of my web video show The Web Mix at thewebmix.com is focused on jobs and career sites. JobFox and Indeed were two that I mentioned but there other new sites that are changing job searching by matching your profile with the needs of potential employers.
So I thought that you and your readers may find value in this episode so I wanted to share.
Take Care,
Jason

I like Indeed as well. However, I would like to share another one, that is really focused in terms of the positions you receive information about, and the way you can receive information. The site is called Jobfox - http://www.jobfox.com.
What makes Jobfox different from other job sites?
In my opinion, Jobfox is different because you use a tool called Suitability Profile that creates a mutual match between you and an employer. Then you only get notified based upon the profile. You can even request to be alerted via text messaging. So you don't have to keep looking at your email. This certainly will save you time. If there are no job matches, you won't be notified. They have some other awesome tools as well, some of which are free as well as upgrades for a cost.
